How we’ll move your business to Office 365 in 7 easy steps

The number of businesses choosing to move to Office 365 is rapidly increasing.

The rise in demand is no surprise as the solution offers flexible and familiar collaboration across teams, devices, and platforms. Whether you’re working online or off, at home or at work, from a computer, tablet, or phone, from desktop to web and any devices in between.

At Smart Computers, we’ve installed Office for thousands of users, and we use it ourselves daily. We know our way around Office 365 and can share our experience with you to make switching or upgrading easy.

By following these simple steps, we’ll get you up and running in no time.

Step 1: Planning call – to ensure your migration is as efficient as possible, we will plan a call with you to talk you through the process. Our team are on hand to help answer any questions and advise you how to plan your move to Office 365.

Step 2: Readiness report – not every environment is Office 365-Ready. To check that yours is we’ll run a diagnostic check. The output will be a Readiness Health Check Report which will pinpoint any areas where corrective action is recommended prior to the migration.

Step 3: Migration – once we’ve worked with you to plan the migration, and we’ve checked the environment, we will be ready to migrate you. We’ll manage the whole process for you – on time and on budget.

Step 4: Configuration – Next up involves the configuration of your Outlook profiles, a straightforward process that we will arrange for you.

Step 5: Training – Once you have been migrated, we will help you through the adoption stage, providing training and resources to those who need it. This can either be done onsite or remotely.

Step 6: Security – To make sure your systems are properly protected we’ll review your requirements. It may be that some of the standard Office 365 security capabilities are suitable, however, we’ll provide you with an unbiased recommendation to help you choose the best option for you including: endpoint security; protection against ransomware; email filtering; email and document encryption; back-up & disaster recovery; plus more.

Step 7: Support – Now you’re up and running, you can choose the level of ongoing support you require.

We have a range of options designed to be flexible to meet the needs of your business.
