SMART COMPUTERS LAUNCHES A CHARITY PARTNERSHIP WITH GLOUCESTERSHIRE BASED CCP
As part of its 20-year anniversary celebrations, Smart Computers donated a top of the range laptop to local charity CCP – an organisation that provides a crucial service in Cheltenham to help transform the lives of children, young people, families and vulnerable adults – and now staff at the Cheltenham based firm have voted in favour of continuing to support CCP throughout 2017 in a joint charity partnership.
Tim Potts, Managing Director at Smart Computers, said: “We are delighted to be supporting CCP. We took a staff vote on which charity we should support and the fact that we are choosing CCP shows it is a cause close to the hearts of everyone who works here.
“We can’t wait to get involved, starting with supporting the annual CCP Hamper Scamper campaign at Christmas. We have lots of activities planned throughout next year to help support and raise valuable funding.”
Cordell Ray, chief executive of CCP said, “We’re absolutely thrilled that Smart Computers have chosen CCP as their charity of the year. The laptop that they kindly donated is making a real difference already. We’re really looking forward to collaborating with Smart on future projects to make even more of an impact.
“The support we receive from local businesses really helps us to continue our work to prevent homelessness, strengthen local families and promote independence in the county and again I wish to extend my gratitude to Smart Computers.”
